Whisperer

An open source VR demo experience to show off and help developers get started with Meta's Voice SDK on the Quest platform.

Whisperer

In Whisperer, you play as a friendly ghost trying to help poor Bea find her love of gardening again. Unable to physically interact with the environment, you must use your voice to solve the puzzles and bring Bea's garden back to life.

This was an exciting and fun project, but with just 2 months to bring it to life it required an organized and optimized pipeline. This required laying out our import pipeline efficiently and training our 3D artists on source control; as well as pre-planning our look dev and asset construction for both beauty and performance on the Quest 2.

As Technical Artist on this project, my role included: shader development and creation, optimization for the Quest 2, pipeline/source control, FX, and setting up in engine animation controllers.
